Rhode Island is a great state for sport fishing.  Miller Time is only 20 minutes from the Block Island fishing grounds, which are the most productive bass waters in the state. Block Island is where we fish on all of our bass and blues trips.  There is just so much structure to hold fish and the waters stay cooler, keeping the bass around, unlike in Narragansett Bay where the waters heat up and it becomes a bluefish bay during the summer.  So I say to you:

August 17, 2012 Bass & Blues Charter.  Captain Fred had 3 anglers and they caught 12 bass and 32 bluefish. They also caught 3 flounder on this full day trip.

August 15, 2012 Bass & Blues Charter.  Captain Fred had 4 anglers and they caught 7 bass and 21 bluefish on a half day trip.

August 14, 2012 Bass & Blues Charter.  Captain Fred had 6 anglers and they caught 6 bass and 71 bluefish on a full day trip.

August 9, 2012 Bass & Blues Charter.  Captain Fred had 3 anglers and they got 8 stripers and 2 bluefish in a half day trip.  One bass was 50lbs and was caught on a spinning rod.

July 29th  Shark Fishing Charter.  Captain Fred had 4 anglers on a birthday party for his son and 2 friends and they got 3 blue sharks.

July 27th Shark Fishing Charter.  Captain Fred had 5 anglers and they caught 4 blue sharks including an 8' blue and also a keeper Mako.

July 26th Shark Fishing Charter.  Captain Fred sailed on a shark trip with 6 anglers on a bachelor party and they got  8 blue sharks.
